Who is Your Hero?

Ocean Lifeline is a progressive not for profit organization consisting of a team of marine conservationists, film makers, underwater videographers, photographers and educators, and fiscally sponsored by New York Women In Film and Television. With leadership from Cynthia Carvajal and her team, they were awarded the gold seal of approval from the New York State Education Department. What makes OLL unique is “our ability to communicate current ocean affairs through powerful imagery: projections, photography and video. The ocean’s lifeline is our lifeline. Protect the future!”

The latest project Cynthia organized was a community outreach ocean mural for students effected by hurricane Sandy. Here is a great video of the process. She is going back to the school this month to take pictures of the final piece.
